The highlight of my room was the spacious private balcony, complete with a firepit. It was so relaxing that I could have easily spent my entire stay there.

The bathrooms at Alila Napa Valley are a haven of indulgence. They feature a rainfall shower, dual vanity, and a heated automatic toilet. Every detail was carefully considered to ensure a lavish and pampering experience.

However, with the view from my balcony and the amenities offered at Alila Napa Valley, it was tempting to simply stay on the property and never leave.

Road trip to Big Sur

After indulging in a few days of wine tasting and exploring all that Napa has to offer, it’s time to embark on the next leg of your road trip and head south! As we journeyed towards Big Sur, we made sure to include a stop at Battery Spencer for the most breathtaking views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. And no California road trip is complete without a delicious lunch at In-N-Out! However, the absolute highlight of your journey will undoubtedly be Bixby Bridge. Along the way, you’ll find several lookout points where you can park your car and fully immerse yourself and take pictures!

Alila Ventana Big Sur

If you’re in search of one of the most unique resort experiences in the United States, look no further than Alila Ventana Big Sur! The chef’s focus on using fresh ingredients, including organic vegetables sourced from their very own garden, creates dishes that are both delicious and sustainable. The Sur House, a stunning restaurant perched at a higher elevation, offers breathtaking views that provide the perfect backdrop for a romantic meal. We enjoyed the daily complimentary happy hour at Sur House featuring the resort’s signature cocktail!

Your days at Alila Ventana Big Sur can be spent exploring the wonders of the resort and connecting to nature. Take a guided hike through the redwoods, join a morning yoga class to rejuvenate your mind and body, or unwind with your partner in the soothing hot baths.
